Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale Property Sold for $25 Million

The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale property on 17th Street Causeway was sold for $25 million last week, Broward County property records show.
Art Institute Investment LLC, whose principals include Fort Lauderdale real estate agent Kelly Drum and his brother-in-law Robert Roschman, acquired the 6.4 acre site and 73,000-square-foot educational building. The seller was Ocean World Associates of Philadelphia.
Art Institute Investment obtained a $16 million mortgage loan from State Farm Life Insurance Co. The sale involved only the property, not the school itself.
